PostPilot · Terms of Service
Last updated: September 2026
By accessing or using PostPilot, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
PostPilot is an AI-assisted content distribution manager. It helps you define a brand profile, generate content ideas and copy, upload and prepare media, learn a visual style from reference images you provide, schedule posts, and — when you connect an Instagram Professional account — publish through Meta's official APIs, manually, on a schedule, or via an optional Autopilot mode that fills your content calendar within limits you configure.
PostPilot organizes data into workspaces. You may access the service with a Google account (verified through Google OAuth) or, where the server operator provides one, a server access key. There is no PostPilot password to manage or share — keep your Google account and any access keys secure, and do not share them. You are responsible for controlling access to the devices and environments where you run or access PostPilot, especially any self-hosted deployment.
Connecting Instagram is done through Meta's OAuth authorization flow. By connecting, you authorize PostPilot to act within the granted permissions (such as reading your Professional account details and publishing content you prepare). Publishing requires a Professional (Business or Creator) Instagram account linked to a Facebook Page — a Meta requirement outside our control.
You may disconnect at any time from the Connections screen, which immediately wipes PostPilot's stored access tokens. You can also revoke access from within your Meta account settings.
You are responsible for accounts you connect, for keeping your Meta credentials secure, and for any content published to your accounts through PostPilot, whether published manually, on schedule, or by Autopilot operating within your configured settings.
You retain ownership of content you upload and of content generated for you. You are responsible for ensuring you hold the rights to any media, text, trademarks, or other material you upload or ask PostPilot to use, and that your content complies with applicable law and with the terms of any platform you publish to.
AI-generated ideas, captions, hashtags, and designs are produced automatically and may be inaccurate, generic, or unsuitable. You should review content before publishing — or configure approval requirements and quality thresholds so nothing publishes without meeting your standards. PostPilot does not guarantee the accuracy, originality, or performance of AI-generated content.
Scheduled publishing executes server-side according to your schedules and Autopilot configuration (frequency, days, time windows, quiet hours, blackout dates, approval requirements, quality thresholds, and emergency stop). PostPilot does not guarantee successful publication: Meta may reject, delay, or limit publishing for reasons including invalid media, expired tokens, rate limits, permission changes, account standing, or API changes. Failures are recorded with their provider error codes for your review.
PostPilot integrates with third-party services including Meta/Instagram, OpenAI, and optionally S3-compatible storage. Your use of those services through PostPilot is additionally subject to their own terms and policies. PostPilot is not responsible for third-party service availability, behavior, pricing, or policy changes.
PostPilot's software, branding, and interface are and remain the property of their respective owners. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of your content to PostPilot, or of PostPilot's software to you.
PostPilot is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, including uptime or uninterrupted operation. Features may change or be removed as the product evolves. We make no service-level promises.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PostPilot disclaims all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PostPilot shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of content, audience, revenue, or data arising from your use of (or inability to use) the service, including actions taken by third-party platforms.
You may stop using PostPilot at any time. Disconnecting your social accounts immediately revokes PostPilot's stored access. You may request complete deletion of your workspace data as described on our Data Deletion page.
We may update these Terms as the application changes; the “Last updated” date above will reflect the current version. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
